Patient Counselling Service

During your stay in hospital, the staff of our counselling team are available to help you overcome personal and social problems related to your illness.

They can provide information and advice
•     in social and legal matters, for example relating to disablement, reduced earnings capacity pensions, financial difficulties, and power of attorney.
•     in cases where special nursing care is required, for example home visits for out-patients, nursing homes, short-term care, applications for equipment or for invalidity benefits
•     in arranging rehabilitation programmes
•     in finding self-help groups and support agencies in your vicinity

The ward staff will put you in touch with your contact person. You can reach the secretary of the Patient Counselling Service at +49 941 944-5655. If nobody is available to answer the telephone, please leave a message on the answering machine with your name, ward and telephone number.

Depending on your state of health, counselling can take place in the office of the counselling service, or in your ward.
