Inpatient treatment

Inpatient stay & daily routine at the hospital

Please refrain from bringing items that are not necessary for your everyday use. It is important to limit your personal belongings to essential items, as there is only limited space available in your room.

For your stay with us you will need to bring the following items: 

  • Records and documents
    • Health insurance card
    • Letter of referral from the clinic or referral from the general practitioner
    • Certificate of exemption from health insurance (if you are exempt from paying a co-payment)
    • Medical documents and findings - if available
    • Allergy passport and other documents
  • Medication you have been prescribed and are currently taking
  • Toiletries (towels, soap, dental care set, etc.)
  • Clothing, sleepwear, underwear, dressing gown, jogging suit or similar.
  • Sturdy shoes, slippers

Please keep your glasses, contact lenses, hearing aid or dentures in the containers provided in your bedside table or lockable cupboard. You can request containers from the nursing staff. Please do not place these items wrapped in paper or a tissue under the pillow or on the nightstand. They may get lost or damaged while cleaning.

Each patient room is equipped with a television and radio. Additional devices cannot be installed for the safety of medical equipment. 

Please leave at home: Please leave things that are not necessary for everyday use at home. We recommend leaving large sums of money at home. If you were admitted urgently, please give this to your relatives.

In exceptional cases, you can deposit money and valuables for the duration of your treatment free of charge at the office of the patient library, building A0, ground floor, room No. 06 of the hospital (entrance hall) with a receipt.

In the rooms in building sections B4 and C4, there is a safe in each wardrobe. Please use this for storing your valuables!
