Internal Medicine I
Endoscopy
Our endoscopy services range from the diagnosis of common gastrointestinal and biliary disorders, to the early detection of cancer, to minimally invasive treatments and alternative therapies to surgery.
All examinations can be carried out under short anaesthesia (analgosedation) and, if necessary, under general anaesthesia. Patients are closely monitored before and after the procedure by experienced and certified staff. We can also perform many procedures on an outpatient basis. We provide emergency care around the clock, 365 days a year with an endoscopy emergency service.
The endoscopy and reprocessing unit, which was modernised at the beginning of 2022, offers patients maximum hygienic safety, comfort and privacy. Findings are documented using an electronic system.
At the end of the examination, the patient leaves the endoscopy centre with a written report of the findings, so that the attending physician has immediate access to all the information.
