Research Training Program - Dept. of Surgery
Start next term 02-03/2022

Program Features:

Successful applicants invited to engage in a 6-8 month basic research thesis project, including monthly stipend

Student assigned both a basic scientist and surgeon mentor during the program

For some projects, the research project will include in-part working in a research lab abroad

After thesis completion, will support and encourage continued research involvement and surgical mentoring until finishing medical studies ("interim period")

After "interim period", those completing the program will receive preferred application status into our surgical resident training program
