Social Evening

We cordially invite you to enjoy Bavarian tradition and princely history during our Bavarian evening in the "Fürstliches Brauhaus am Schloss", right in the heart of Regensburg.

What was once the stables of the Prince of Thurn und Taxis is now a place for socializing and good food.

Built between 1907 and 1911, it housed workshops, carriages and, above all, up to 100 riding and carriage horses. The princely architect of the time, Max Schultze, perfectly adapted the building along the old city wall to the medieval situation with the Emmeram Gate. The use of the building as it has been documented since the 14th century - i.e. during the monastery period of St. Emmeram - remained the same.

The days of horses and carriages are long gone and a new use for these imposing buildings became necessary. Here, too, they have fallen back on an old Emmeram monastery tradition. Since time immemorial, the monks have brewed their own beer nearby, where the new brewery at the castle now brews various types of beer itself. The old coach house has been transformed into a brewery and a cozy restaurant.

The castle park has also become a beer garden and a popular excursion destination. The historic old town is just around the corner and invites you to take a relaxing stroll before or after your meal.

We are looking forward to spending an evening with you at the
